Lorraine Loughlin’s fashion and shopping acumen is behind the shopping and styling company Bespoke Shoppers, the trading name for The London Gift Consultancy.

Fashion intelligence, style sense, research, ongoing monitoring, insider knowledge and contacts keep Lorraine and her handpicked team at the head of fashions, new products and the latest ‘must haves’.

Her love for fashion, eye for detail and shopping prowess, has meant her clients no longer just use her for gift shopping, but now continually turn to her for fashion and styling tips, image makeovers and her special wardrobe busting sessions.

Lorraine is not only a top client of many of the Bond and Sloane Street stores, including Louis Vuitton, Versace, Hermes, Chanel, Jimmy Choo and Christian Dior, but she is a regular at Fashion Week in London and Paris and continually works with the leading players in the industry. If there is something worth having, wearing or giving, whether it is high street or Hermes, then Lorraine knows about it.

Lorraine is no shopaholic turned businesswoman. She was an analyst for both the metal and energy sectors before setting up her own business in 2003. Lorraine’s corporate experience has developed her into a talented business woman and equipped her with an insider’s knowledge of what it’s like not to have the time to shop.

Your obsession: ‘definitely shoes – a cliché for a woman I know. I try to wear simple stylish clothes, so shoes tend to be my must have accessory to jazz my outfits up.’

What do you never leave home without: ‘My lip balm, some hand cream, my blackberry and journal. I am constantly writing down lists and ideas.’

Your favourite gadget: ‘my Nike ipod sport training sensor kit. I cannot run without music, it definitely keeps me going and I never tire of hearing Lance telling me how well I’ve done!’

Favourite piece of makeup: ‘Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer.’

Favourite place to shop: ‘fourth floor Harvey Nichols and there is a great strip at Bluewater, that houses my high street favourites.’

Shopping Tips: ‘go early!’

Wardrobe Staples: ‘great fitting pair of jeans and black trousers, cashmere jumper, pashmina, classic white shirt, a one-stop dress, my shoe of the moment – currently a two tone top shop shoe boot.’

I’m loving at the moment: ‘Funky French fashion labels such as Maje and Sandro. I discovered these labels on my travels to Paris.’

Fashion Rules: ‘don’t follow fashion for the sake of it, take from the season the items that makes you feel great and suit you and good quality shoes.’

Guilty Pleasure: ‘Afternoon tea at a posh London hotel.’
