"Each is egg is unique and is made by the same company which has made Fortnum & Mason Easter eggs for the past 80 years," says Natalie Albon, the department store's assistant confectionary buyer, noting that everything is completely handmade "from the shell, the chocolates inside and the sugar flowers."
But if you get stuck when it comes to which design to choose, help is at hand. "On April 8, 9 and 10, you will be able to meet the chocolatier and try some chocolate as well as customise and personalise your own Easter egg in store at Fortnum & Mason," Albon says. |

TopShop Targets Breast Cancer
Top Shop’s latest collaboration ticks the boxes for fashion cool and social awareness so desired in today's market. The new T-shirt, in slouchy jersey, bears an oversized target logo now so keenly associated with Breakthrough Breast Cancer's annual awareness drive; Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.
The charity is the UK's leading fundraiser for the condition and Topshop has supported the campaign since 2005; producing an exclusive shopper bag each year in aid of the charity. Their collaboration on the T-shirt takes the association to another level - and pushes the T-shirt in to a new realm of desirability.
The T-shirt will retail at £22, with 30 per cent of the proceeds going to Breakthrough Breast Cancer, and will be available from Topshop - instore and online at www.topshop.co.uk - from April 6.
